The Beavers Bend Rod Run is held yearly in Beavers Bend
State Park will feature over 150 pre-1973 street rods. Hosted by the Kiamichi
Street Rod Association, the annual Beavers Bend Rod Run will also feature games
for all ages, a poker run, door prizes and more. Spend the afternoon wandering
through rows of classic trucks, muscle cars and vintage vehicles under shade

The recent fire on the west side of the Bonham Square will
not the impact the Red River Valley Car Club's 23rd Annual Spring Car Show
planned for Saturday, June 2, 2007.
This year's car show will have people coming from Dallas,
Fort Worth, Dangerfield, Mt. Vernon and many other Texas cities, as well as
Lehigh, Broken Bow and a variety of Oklahoma cities. A rain date has been set
for June 9.
There will be all makes and models at this show.
Dash plaques, tee shirts,and goody bags for first 100. Door
prizes, 50/50/ pot , 50s music
Registration $20.00. 22 classes (3 awards per class) 6

5th annual Northeast Texas Classic Car Show. Event Dates:
June 9, 2012 - June 9, 2012. Location: Paris, Texas
The Red River Valley Honkers Car Club in conjunction with
the Lamar County Chamber of Commerce would like to take this opportunity to
invite everyone to come join us in Paris on June 9, 2012 for the 5th annual
Northeast Texas Classic Car Show. The 2012 show is being made possible by our
generous corporate sponsor Toyota of Paris as well as many other Paris
businesses. Thanks to them and your participation the Northeast Texas Classic
Car Show will be bigger and better than ever.
Lamar National Bank will be sponsoring the beautiful class
award trophies this year.
Another change is the addition of many special awards
(sponsor's choice) called Paris Picks. These will be actual trophies awarded to
show participants that have been chosen by one of our many fine sponsors for
these special awards.
We will once again be hosting a cruise night and 50's party
the preceding evening, Friday June 8 at the Love Civic Center. This event is
free of charge thanks to Mikes Custom Paint and Body Shop. This is a fun way to
see beautiful historic Paris and be seen in your classic ride or hot rod. The
cruise kicks off at 6 p.m. sharp and we will travel the main streets of Paris as
well as our quaint turn of the century square. Afterwards, there will be dancing
to your favorite oldies and doo wop tunes, from the 50s and 60s, spun by a
professional DJ. Or you can just visit with fellow car enthusiasts and enjoy
delicious food or treats from one of our specialty food vendors. Come early and
register in the drawing for a free 32 LCD television to be won by a lucky
partier. It will be an evening of family fun for all.
Registration for the car show will be from 8 to 11 a.m.
June 9th at the Love Civic Center Lobby. The first 200 registrants will receive
a dash plaque. The first 36 participants that pre-register are guaranteed
covered parking and a free car show T-shirt. Door prizes will be awarded to
participants throughout the show and a 50/50 give away. Show hours will be 8
a.m. to 5 p.m. with trophy presentations at 3 p.m. The proceeds from this show
